It's the story most of us ladies know well. It's been a few weeks and you're starting to realise your bikini area isn't in tip top shape for the Darwin weather. We live in neighbourhoods surrounded by pools but maintaining that mane just doesn't seem all that appealing, so you cautiously google a beauty salon near by.
Urban Wax pops up - you briefly look at their services menu to make sure pulling hair from your skin isn't going to break the bank, book in an appointment, andpray to god they don't kill you.

Appointment day rolls around and you step through the door and the peaceful aromas float into your nose. You breathe in slowly and are instantly welcomed to an easy experience. You sit down and wait your turn, scrolling through your phone to avoid awkward eye contact - knowing that everyone knows you're about to spread your legs to a random stranger.

Then it happens.

An angel appears.

Her name is Sasha and her infectious smile makes you breathe easy. 
You lie on the table and shift anxiously as she preps the wax. She applies the hot goo and lets it cool, while talking your ear off to ease your mind. With every pull it winces a bit, but beauty is pain. All the while it being made easy by someone whose vibes radiate positivity.

Not a bad word to say about Urban Wax.

Shopped around Darwin for years, never had consistent high quality waxing untill going to Urban wax. Sensible skin care advice. No product pushing. Fast service and great prices. The team talked me through commencing IPL for hair reduction, was sold with September 20% off deal. Very anxious about laser treatment as I have v. sensitive skin.... but after first session wish I had started sooner. It was far less painful than waxing, quicker and i was VERY impressed with how easy it is. Team are very friendly. Waiting room not v. private so be prepared to talk turkey in front of other customers. Overall, hands down best beauty salon in Darwin, can highly recommend.

I am a mother of a 6 month old and was in need of a pamper day!! Sasha was AMAZING and could not recommend her enough. She was very professional, kind and excellent at her job. I had the brow trio and mani/pedi and all treatments were done to the highest of standards and very reasonably priced.

The salon is clean, fresh and a lovely calming vibe with professional staff.
